Default Boot dimples

I noticed on my boot what I thought was a small dent. I always thought this was from when my housemate setup his laptop on my boot and leant on it

However I've noticed it's right where the boot attaches to the arms on the left hand side. When I close the boot it feels like theres a very good seal and the air pressure is making it hard to close.

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm not sure what I can do about it. I'm wondering if the bolts are too tight?

It's kind of hard to describe but if anyone else has this they will know what I mean.

Rawhide,

I had these. Personally I think the previous owner had rested the hard top on the boot lid before lifting it clear of the car - it seemed to be the only explanation for where they were located.

No probs with my boot. Only thing it doesnt do is fully open when I undo it remotely. Seems to unlock and lifts just an inch, I then have to open it manually. Can I do anything to the spring?

I'll try and take a pic but it's only visible when the light moves across it. A small movie might be easier.
