boot int light & boot release not working
hi guys, got a couple of problems with my s2000, the boot release wont work at all (either from the fob or the button), also the boot interior light isnt working (tried changing the bulb and fuse), i've also had a look in the boot, cant see any loose wires at all
i read on another thread about fuse number 26 (i take it thats the interior fuse box?) is the boot release one, but there isnt any fuse in number 26 (there's no sockets in it for it to take a fuse, its just a blank)
any ideas?

Regarding the boot release, a common problem is a break in the wires providing some of the services in the boot. This occurs where the harness is attached to the nearside boot hinge, due to the constant flexing! Do a search as this has been discussed recently.
Does your interior light work? This is on the same fuse - number 17, in the fusebox over the driver's right foot - as the boot light. If the fuse is OK check the pressure switch which activates this light.

The pressure switch which activates the boot light is integral with the boot latching mechanism.
Bear in mind that the boot release button is electrically activated. The problem is almost certainly within the sheathing protecting that part of the electrical harness I mentioned previously!
