Presumably you've tried the internal button on warm to rule out the fob or not though?

It's electronic, not mechanical, so that'll determine where the problem lies.
Now that IS interesting Graham. I hadn't realised that. It works first time, every time, which does suggest a fob problem. Hmmmmm.......

EDIT: I'll have to dig out my spare identical fob, I think I have one somewhere.

I didn't either, until my battery mysteriously went flat at Le Mans and I couldn't get into the boot.

One option would be to rig up a clever system of pulleys to a lever on the outside of the car (perhaps where the stubby aerial is ), linked to the button in the glove box?

Boot opening would work proprly on everyones car if it wasn't for HondaUK installing those POS alarms on the car after they were imported.

LOL

Another plan would be to have a hole in the boot lid, in which one could insert an equally matched de-locking device which would cause the boot to open.

Something similar to the door opening system....

Anything from a 62% to 66% success rate.

Mine - 02 52 - works about 50%-60% of the time. Seems to work more often when I click it _just_ as the alarm-off lights finish flashing, but I could be mistaken..
