Routed the line joints the rails under the TB. Looks loads neater.
Figured out which pins to put power to on the pump carrier to work the pump.
Could hear it working, had fuel in it, took a fitting near the end of the line off, bone dry. Ran it with the fitting off, nothing.
Traced the problem back to the pump carrier, I had the -6 & -8 lines on the carrier back to front.
Doofus.
Had to crack it off to relieve pressure.
Good news is the -6 line 100% does not leak!

Had to pack up as my mate had finished for the day.
I'll pipe it correctly tomorrow and try again to look for leaks.

Fuel system piped up properly today, leak test completed, perfect first time!
Mr Pitts is a star for lending me that kit, can't wait to meet him and see his car!

Rad cap chopped off the radiator and patch welded on by friend who has the kit to weld ally, the welds are neater than mishimoto's!

Pushed the car out the workshop and gave it a quick clean.
One of my mates insisted on clay bar and waxing/polishing (wasn't paying too much attention as I was drying the car down) the hard top.
Have to say it came up lovely, like glass!
Problem is you can easy see the two dents/scratches that my bro did when he dropped his bike on my roof.

Also it goes to the electrician on the 2nd!
Looking at an end of June early July finish!

Clean!
Plastic bag taped over the charger to make it "water tight". From this you can get a sense of how tall it actually is and the the lump will be quite big.
Bigger than I originally hoped it'd be. Just hope it doesn't look crap!

I keep looking at the title of this thread and I can't help but think sticking a bloody great V8 in an S is so not what the car is about, but.........

There's plenty of originals and modified F20 powered cars, so why the hell not do something mad like this? Crazy and awesome. I love it.

Cars having engines they are not designed for normally spells an equal ratio of danger to awesome
Also I hope who ever is building those walls doesn't get carried away and block your car in.
