Bourbon's S6000
So not much has happened since my last update as I've been pulling my hair out trying to get my Gf's mk1 vw caddy on the road and surprise surprise she doesn't have any money for parts though she bought a lovely little dog collar with a bow tie on it ....
I digress .. Payday is less than 30 hours away and upon arrival I'll finally have enough for the engine and other parts included in the sale!!
Engine bay still isn't ready as I can only do it in my spare time which as previously stated is already occupied, though when it's working she can transport me some stuff around
The updated schedule is as follows:
Complete bay mods ready for test fit
Test fit mid November
Have the bay painted at a shop to make it presentable at the end of November
December:
Manifolds
(money will be tight this month)
New year:
fueling and Wiring
new front bumper
fit airwalker lip
rear over arches
seibon carbon front wings
side skirts and rear doo hickeys
Full respray(still black)
finally put the coilies to use and lower it

Done some welding tonight patching in the holes I made.
Everything seemed to be going well...
The welds aren’t the prettiest as it was with a mig (tig set has mysteriously disappeared) and access was difficult whilst being sat in the bay too.
Didn’t get to fully clean it up as my shift partner was complaining about noise and I guess he was right, it is quiet time now.
Upon packing away and pushing the car back out the workshop into the car park it came to my attention that my interior/cabin was full of smoke. I opened the door and it bellowed out. It seems to have dissipated but I can't help but worry that something is smouldering away and next time I come back to it I'll have no interior/car.
Hopefully I'm just being paranoid and it'll be ok after half of Halfords supply of air fresheners.
Pictures when I get home tomorrow morning.

You'll have to excuse the poor picture quality, got some reflective blue screens for my phone and although it looks snazzy the flash for some reason is now yellow.
Still waiting on my iphone 5s to be in stock.

The welding isn't the best and it does upset me
However it's going into a spray shop and I'll have them tidy it up and smooth it in with some filler but you won't be able to see anyway as there'll be a huge v8 in the way!
But before then I'll be tidying it up myself a bit more, the electrician was complaining about my noise last night as I was disturbing him so I had to pack it in early :/

I could do either of those options, it's nice having the choice.
Chances are I'll go with a removable thing like this:

This belongs to a guy who is having his S2 built to be a drag car, it's half way through being built but it looks awesome, and the quality of the work done by the shop is brilliant.
I'll be going to them to have a replica cusco cage made which isn't bolt together.
I hope the guy doesn't mind me using a picture
