Default Brake Master Cylinder Brace

Having seen a few posts suggesting a brace to the brake master cylinder can improve brake feel and performance I was wondering if any of us UK S owners had one fitted?

If you have - a few questions!

Does it really improve the feel?
Does it really improve the performance?
How much was it?
Where did you get it

For those who think I'm here is a pic of one installed thanks to Kobe!

For some reason I can't visualise pics on my comp - they keep coming up as a red cross in a white box.

Anyway, having seen how much the cylinder moves when the pedal is pressed (while bleeding system) I fail to see how it can't help. I was surprised just how much movement there was.

However, I can't think how it would improve the performance as such......

I too would like to know where these are available from?

I've got one fitted, I'm sure it did give the peddle more firmer feel I think

There might be a point to this thing if you are spending youre life hammering around a track, but for normal road use I can't really see the need, unless of course it's just something else to fit for that bit of one upmanship.

I guess you are running a firewall, and probably namely norton Internet security. You need to adjust your privacy control, and pics will appear

you are absolutely right, but I won't have attained the full set of one upmanship accessories until I can find the brake brace made in some nice carbonfibre
