BRAKES
At 47k car will soon need new pads again. At 4 years old Alysbury Honda got fairly excited about levels of corrosion on discs ans pitting esp on rears. I have noticed that the braking surface nearer the centre seems to suffer more and is not is now not staying clean even when used for a lot of miles.
So the question is, New rotors and pads? and what about the ones advertised in the market place grooved and cad plated has anybody fitted these here. And wot other options to achieve this esp the plated variety to maybe hold back the rust for a while.

Check out the search, loads of brake mods on here, with large discussions re which way round you should place the grooved discs and the amount of noise they make.

OEM discs are actually pretty good. someone's had them analysed by a metallurgist (biker1 I think). The brakes international stuff can crack under hard use. Don't know about the marketplace stuff. You'll get stung for tax on a lot of it.
If you want to upgrade calipers, talk to StevenM he'll rave at great length to you about Wilwoods.
OEM pads are good for road. I use porterfield R4S at the mo but will probably updrade. But if I was just doing road use I'd stick to OEM, same for discs really. Shop around for OEM stuff though.

Don't know about S2k, but my experience with 'teg brakes (at least comparable stopping-power and fade-resistance) was this:-
OEM 'teg disks are apparently unbranded Brembo blanks. No reason they shouldn't be on S2k either. I replaced the 'teg disks with decent-brand blanks, which never seemed quite as robust. But from main-dealer they're expensive.
Pads: OEM pads pretty good, but if you want a bit more bite and feel, Mintex 1144 are very good (but be prepared to clean your wheels every week at least), or Ferodo DS2000 have a good rep, DS2500 for something a bit more aggressive. Heard good things about Pagid also.

I upgraded my Front Brakes to the Tarox 6 Pot - Awesome !!!
If you want - I've got a set of Front Spoon Drilled / Vented Discs for the S2 - Direct Replacements for Sale (only used for circa 3 Months)
With EBC Yellow (Trackday Pads) they realy perform well on Track
