I have done a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Looking for winter tyres to put on my standard 16" wheels but not 100% sure what size to get. Because the Potenzas on the rears are 225, which I believe is stock size, but when changing to another brand alot of people say a 245 is needed. So I would like to know if I get a couple of winter Bridgestones, (Blizzaks), will I need 225s or 245s...?

225 is fine, and the narrower the better for winter tyres.

I have 16's... and new Conti's Winter Contact 225's on rear, 205 at front
