It's worth shopping around, because although NCD does reside with one car / individual, some will give hefty discounts for NCDs on your other car. Best deal I got was through the AA, by a long way.

The Lifesure thing sounds particularly appealing, though.

Bell Direct will take your existing NCB and give you the same deal on another car.

I did this a while ago and now have full NCB on 2 cars with 2 different companies, none of which are now Bell

Liverpool vict did this for me, added a second car and gave me 4 years no claims, the policy had 2 months til renewal and then I had 5 years on the second policy. They also did the same for the 3 rd car so I have 8, 6 and 5 years no claims all on seperate policies
