So .... how many bhp is this mod likely to knock off the car in a hot summers day?

More fashion before function.

It looks good but it is still resticting airflow into the engine bay.

Ah but then I have two ducts at either side of the bumper allowing air to flow in - Plus a bigger opening at the front - Plus the Mugen cooling mods.

Nice one Pie - Xviper is a great help! I've always used his thread when working on the car.

2. Bought a roll of aluminized insulation tape (6" wide), the kind that has 2 layers of crinkled aluminum with plastic bubble wrap in between (total thickness - 3/16"). I slid this between the airbox intake horn and the top of the rad. I covered the entire top of the rad area from the front side of the airbox to just beyond the foam rad cushion (back to front) and the whole width of the hood opening (side to side) with one layer, duct taped it all down (again, NOT a pretty site).

If you read the thread carefully you will see that Xvipers 'rad mat' *only* covered the top of the radiator and did not cover the air guide.

The air guide takes air from way in front of the radiator.

The purpose of these CF (or any other material) radiator plates is to deflect air into the radiator rather than over and into the engine bay.

Steven - those plates would be ideal if they had the cutour for the airflow to go towards the airbox opening however at the moment, they are restricting vital air.

Steve from what i'm reading he's covered the entire area infront of the radiator, he slid the mat under the airhorn

He did have some pictures of this bubble wrapped monstrosity and the air guide is completely covered, but the link no longer works.
