CF Rad Panel
I still maintain a stock setup draws air from the inner wing as opposed to just infront of the rad, if you look at the underside of the bonnet that area in front of the rad is pretty well sealed when the bonnet is closed.

Look at the first photo on the thread. The airguide is the bit that is being covered by the 'rad cover'.
The air guide is there for a reason and it has holes in it for a reason. It is taking air from in front of the radiator and directing it into the air box/engine bay.
What Xviper did was to insulate the heat from the radiator and stop this heat from heating up the air that was entering the airbox.
The 'rad panel' that is being installed here has no insulating purpose and does not cover the radiator. It would be better named CF bling.

See the blue strut in front of the radiator? at each end of that there is a rubber stopper. The bonnet sits on top of that.
Now look at the underside of the bonnet you will see that the bonnet cutouts start before the point that where the stoppers make contact with the bonnet.

You know what's a real shame.
This one turned up on a thread only yesterday, and would be ideal for anyone with a stock airbox.

Sorry again.

IMHO.
If you have a stock airbox these sort of CF rad cover are probably not a good idea without a hole cut to allow air to the box. Or go for the one shown above.
If you have an after market air intake (of practically any type) then it should be just fine.

The purpose of these CF (or any other material) radiator plates is to deflect air into the radiator rather than over and into the engine bay.
Steven - those plates would be ideal if they had the cutour for the airflow to go towards the airbox opening however at the moment, they are restricting vital air.
