do you think that small amount high would cause that, i know i have complained about my car in the past but i really am getting so fed up with it,

Ive had my cat on and off a few times. Throttle is definately crisper with the cat off.

Ive had this a few times, i can only think that oil in getting into the breating system during spirited driving (twisty B road)

Too much oil is bad, even if i's only a little, the blue smoke should stop once it's down to the mark, just keep an eye on it.

Yes i will, i check it very often, and its the same colour it was when it went in i just dont want to damage it. Its only a minute amount over

When cold?

ECU reset is unrelated to your issue, and it's not really needed.

Maybe the heat that would othewise be absorbed and disipated by the cat is burning oil from the remaining pipe?
