Default clutch problems

Afternoon all,

My clutch pedal has become very soft. It used to be quick notchy but was not a problem. It now (and has done for a few weeks or so) has hardly any resistance and its very easy to depress. It springs back no problem and the clutch engages fine, although the bite is a little high. I have recently changed the clutch fluid and bled that incase there was any air bubbles but thus has made no difference.

Any help would be great

Check down by the clutch pedal for moisture. A soft pedal is a telltale symptom of a buggered master cylinder. They only cost about £100 to replace.

Failing that, it'll be the slave - fairly cheap to sort out as well.
