Default Cold tick over rpm
I've done a search but can't find an answer.

What's the tick over supposed to be on cold start? Mine sits at 2000rpm and I just don't think it's right. After a short drive it comes down to a rock steady 1000rpm.

Mines a 2006my with dbw throttle if it makes any difference.

Tried searching for cold idle? Might be something there. That's what Honda calls it in the manuals.

Mine is also DBW. On start up it sits at 2k rpm. Once warm it will sit at 1k. When it is cold I don't like moving off until the rpm has dropped off to about 1.5k.

Mines the same. Does make finding the bite point a bit harder..

I didn't know engine speed dictated where the clutch bite point is....
