creaking / clicking from rear

creaking / clicking from rear
when i pull away in 1st i get this noise from the rear its a loudish clicking noise and same in reverse clicking, doesnt matter if the car is hot or cold it clicks when i pull away.. is getting worse wasnt so bad a few months back but now it's doing it all the time, have searched through the forums and come up with no solid evidence of what this might be, hub nuts? bearing? diff mounts? anybody any ideas?? gona sort it out sunday....

Sounds like the same thing I have with mine. Going in to dealer on 24th for a day for them to work it out. When I did a search on this forum, someone reported something similar and said they had the suspension re-torqued and that fixed it....

they're big nuts that keep the hubs on the axle I have a copy of a December 2001 Honda technical bulletin which explains this particular problem. The nuts need replacing and torquing to 220lbs Big spanner needed there!

Buy two new ones, remove the old, get some grease onto the splines of the driveshafts, torque up to 220nm and stake the nut.
Easy job, you just need a big enough torque wrench and socket.
