Default Damn, it's raining!

Gutted! I must have been getting too used to the fantastic sunny weather we've been having, I've forgoten what's it's like to drive with the hood up

Still, 9000RPM and greasy roads should be amusing!

I really wanted to get a coat of wax on the car today - oh well, guess I will spend the day cleaning the house instead Still the missus will be pleased I guess.

Have bought Zymol cleaner and wax from Halfords, I know its not teh same but thought I would try it as I had run out of my other stuff. Cleans well, but only got the chance to wax the boot lid ( I washed the boot with fairy liquid first to remove previous wax to try and compare). It looks good and beads well, but then so did the turtle wax stuff I was using.

We shall see. 0h, it also goes powdery when you buff it off, something I hate, does anyone know if 'real' Zymol does this too, if so, what are my alternatives??

I'm actually quite pleased it's raining! Ever since I've had the car the roof is down day or night as long as it's not chucking down. A pleasant change actually.

I was going to apply to Team SWIFT, but as I've never mentioned wanting a hard top, I presume I'm precluded ...

Sarcasm - lowest form of wit Mr. Biscuit!!

PS I agree that the rain is quite a nice change, but I can see the novelty wearing off quite quickly.

PPS Any sign of those 'kin plates yet (when/if they arrive, that will make you a 3-plate family )

It was chucking it down for the first time in ages down here in Bournemouth so I used the Fiesta to drive in this morning !!
(Spent 2 hours last night brushing pollen off my baby, cleaning bugs off, cleaning and sparkling the glass, putting oil in, etc so I didn't want to get her dirty).

Just looked out the window and there's brilliant sunshine again

B*LLOX !!!
