Default De-icing Plastic back screen

Plastic rear screen can you use de-icer on it or do you use a scrapper.

Will the soft top be ok with de-icer?

Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't use either.

In fact I would consider changing the plastic hood for one with glass.

Turn on engine, turn on fan and set to full, change temp to hot, aim vents at back window. Give it a few mins, and bobs yer uncle.

This is the best solution.

i either use cold tap water, or de-icer. De-icer doesn't seem to have damaged the hood or plastic window in any way.
