Auto accessories shops here in the States sell a kit that includes a rubber vacuum cup (like a plumber's friend) to pull out the dent with. It worked for me on a CRX I had; don't know that I'd be willing to try it on S2k.

Hi Bob. Any chance of posting contact details of these people? People like that can be invaluable, especially given the quality of some of our local Honda dealers....

Stephen and others. Try Speed-a-way dents--Paul Hawkins 07976 515418 and for bumper scrapes Mark O'Connor 07776188097. Paul has done two Jags for me[dont call me two jags Bob!!!!!]in the past and he works magic.I'm fanatical about where I park but these damn 4 wheel jobs with kids in the back are the worst. Why oh why don't people care any more and why are people jealous if you would rather spend your spare cash on a fun car than something else. The looks I sometimes get !!!!!
This is the male menopause for me!!!!!

Red/black Y2000SE stock as yet

It always amazes me that I can park miles away from other cars in an empty car park and when I come back there's a gagle of cars parked around it.

I guess it's as my old dad used to say, park next to a car which is better/faster/cleaner so that the low life take that rather than yours.

I came back to the car today. It had a Mercedes 4x4 parked next to it. The lady driver got out of the car as I approached and through the door open. The Merc was that high that the door banged into the roof!

Turning a nice shade of red, I asked the lady (who was now getting the joys of her life out of the back) if she took as much care over her possesions. Got told to Fxxx Oxx and got a finger for my troubles

What makes it worse is that it was in front of her kids too. Our new generation of repectful car lovers *not*

Thankfully there was no major damage to the roof

I sincerely hope that you gave her a good beating in front of the kids, so they do not become snobby and have their fingers up their a.. like their mother ?

Cedric, I massaged my ding out today. Took about 10 mins to remove.
You can only now see where I have touched up the paint chip, it looks like a repaired stonechip now and I am pretty happy with it.
I am amazed at the thickness of the steel used on our car (almost Citroen AX territory ).
If you are confident, patient and careful, you can probably remove them yourself without too much trouble.

If you feel the front wing, there is a non-metallic lining.
This does not need to be removed but it can be easily removed if necessary.
A ball pein hammer is all you need..DEPENDING ON WHERE THE DING IS.
I would never attempt a large ding though, too much for my liking.

Put it this way most of the ding was removed with my finger pressure only (I kid you not ), now that must be a thin gauge steel

To be honest I am not confident that Brindley can blend a perfect match....(but thats probably just me)
