Default Differences between piston rings

Hi all
I am in the process of rebuilding my F20C. Whilst shopping around for piston rings, 2 different part numbers are given to me by different honda techs. Honda piston rings part number 13011-PCX-024 is the correct one which are on back order for 3 months. However, piston rings part number 13011-PCX-305 would arrive in 2 days. On VIN search only the first one comes up all the time.

What do people think, should I stick to the correct part number and wait for months or go with the alternative yet OEM rings (second part number above)? Are there any differences in design, performance?

Regards

The different part numbers are for different year engines

-024 is for MY04 onwards, -305 is for 03 and prior

The "PFK" numbers on Lings are different which means that there is a difference:
2002: http://www.lingshond...50&block_05=hcr
2005: http://www.lingshond...58&block_05=hcr

As for whether there is enough diffference between the two to cause a problem, I'm afraid I can't help.

Actual difference in them I don't know but the part numbers seem model year related based on a quick google search

I know a few people have. Apparently it's worth contacting them directly to save on shipping costs.
