Default disc red hot!

Cleaned my car including wheels.after 10 miles one front wheel is covered on brake dust and it's red hot.u can feel a massive amount of heat coming from it.the other front wheel is clean still and hardly any heat.

Just keep getting problems! Any ideas?

Thank you

Sounds like a binding caliper. If it's significantly hotter than the other side (after a drive) then that's more than likely what you have.

Stuck calliper.

On a moderator note, can you try to use the search in future, please? I've noticed a few posts of your asking questions that have been asked many, many times before, thanks
In addition, please do not use text speak here, this is the second time I've had to ask you.

You should be able to strip it down and clean it, see how bad it is. Very common issueon these cars though rears seem to go first

Cleaning under the boot & winding fully back in is frequently sufficient to unseize it.

We seem to be getting a rash of enquiries about really BASIC stuff, ATM...

Basic to some but not others. Some aren't Edd frigging China and some don't know.

To the op. Could be multiple things.

Whip the caliper off and try pushing piston back in ( make sure reservoir cap is off ) If it isn't that, check slider pins, they may well be seized in, which case a 15mm or 17mm spanner on the back of the pins working it back and forth usually unseizes them, remove them, sand off any rust you may find and replace boots that are split. Also remove the brake pad fitting shims inside the carriers, they get carboned up to buggers, scrape off til they are MINT clean and shiney, refit and regrease.

Cool thanks for the advice.

Done exactly what tom1989 said and seems to be doing well at the moment.

Sorry for the basic questions but I'm learning.

Also sorry about the text speach. Is it because I put the letter u instead of you?

Thanks again
