I'd have to agree with the general consensus! Go for the 911.

It's a fantastic car & one I plan to own sometime in the future!

Bit of a silly question really

Def 911 all the way.

S is getting a bit dated and lagging in the power dep too, still a great 2 seat convertible thou for the money.

Good company and open to offers too, have to arrange a visit though so they have all cars your intersted in ready and waiting for you.

Plus i get low down on their cars history from neighbour as he does all servicing on them so get some nice rides too

This was one i was looking at a while back. Had complete overhaul and new roof but they dont tell you that. A case of who u know, not what u know

I wouldn't buy from them again. Just my opinion.

I have driven many 911s and they are great to drive but theyre just so common, cliched and dull (bmw 3 series anyone) to look at, i cant say you wont enjoy one but i wish i could recommend a more individual alternative...

Well, the final hurdle was just jumped - the missis has given the green light. Just need to find a car now...

As for the few negative comments above about 911's. My question is this - what else is there that I can get my daughter in the back of for similar performance, cost, reliability, that is as nice to drive/own/ etc??

I've considered a Mazer, a Ferrari 456, but the running costs are frankly silly.

I test drove a BMW 645 convetible the other day, and felt like a successful pimp/drug dealer driving it. Not to mention that it wasn't that great to drive. I really don't like BMW's, and most of the t**ts who drive them.

As for 911's being common, well they aren't that common in the North.
