As for the few negative comments above about 911's. My question is this - what else is there that I can get my daughter in the back of for similar performance, cost, reliability,

I test drove a BMW 645 convetible the other day, and felt like a successful pimp/drug dealer driving it.

Reminded me of when I drove an 840i. The traffic simply parted for me, I was let out onto main roads, etc.

I did like that car.

I thought about doing exactly the same thing a while back .... but the more time I spend in the car with the kids I realise that I made the right decision by not getting one

(Didn't like the inside of the 993 ..... or the outside of the 996. The 997 looks very nice both inside and out )
