Default Is it easy to change a black interior to red?

While looking for my first S2000, one of the things on my wishlist is a red interior.

I was just thinking, how difficult is it to swap out a black interior for a red one?
Do you think it's less cost effective?

Well, seats will be easy.

Carpets less so but would not think it would be *that* difficult once both seats removed.

Older cars had red inlays in the door, latter ones not.

Going for the full red dash as well will be a right PITA I would guess.

Full red dash im not so fussed about.

Seats seem to be about £400, carpet about £100, doorcards on ebay are about £150.

£650 so far for a red interior...

And bear in mind you'll be flogging what you take out for roughly the same cost...

very easy.
Allow about 4hrs if you neve did it before.
Nothing to catch you out really, just go easy on the seat electrical connections.

What electrical connections? I assume only newer S2000s have these (i.e. post 04). Certainly no connectors on my standard MY03.

S2000s don't have heated seats, unless fitted 3rd party.
