Default Engine Damper

Well I fitted the engine damper the other day in a bid to preserve the engine mount I repaired.

What a huge difference it makes!

Without, the engine has a lateral movement of a good 2-3" at the top.

With, the engine only moves maybe 0.5" MAX so a huge improvement.

Throttle response is GENUINELY improved too.

What a top mod.

Hopefully do the trick!

Looking good Ron, i have the NRG one fitted.

I found it made a difference but not massively.

I found a more direct feel when putting my foot down and shifting/better gear shifts

I maybe have not tightened it enough.

Under bonnet bling, nothing more.
Your noticing a HUGE improvement because your mounts are shagged, allowing the huge amount of play your experiencing.

I'd consede throttle response may have improved due to you engine no longer being able to swing around as much in the bay, but come on

It looks trick for sure!

But if so good/necessary, then why wouldn't Honda would fit one as standard?? They didn't exactly skimp elsewhere on the S engine-wise.

Good work though
