Default Engine Start button removal

Hi guys,

I have the dash pulled out slightly, taken the steering column cover off. I've pulled the white plastic clip off the starter button and replaced the bulb as it never worked previously. (tested the new bulb and works fine).

Was going great until trying to put it all back together from under the dash / with a slight gap around the edge of the dash.

I cant seem to get any screwdriver to undo the top screw of the black radio panel to give myself more space.

Does anyone have any good tips to get around this please / a way to put the starter button back together easier than from behind the dash?

(I've done searches for this but do not want to mess about and drop the steering column down)

Thanks

Cant really help as i haven't done this job but taking the steering wheel off is a 2 min job so it might be easier to do that.

You have to drop the column and remove dash fascia. Have a look on Qube's site for a photo guide

Cutting corners (or trying to) often results in damage.

Thanks guys, I ended up actually shoving my head underneath the dash by the pedals and whilst the blood rushing to my head I did some how manage to slowly put it all back together again! God knows how, but with patience and numb hands from being frozen outside it all went back okay

now all back together, button cleaned with a toothbrush and water, it finally glows.. just in time for it to be dark outside too
