Exhaust mod
#31
On my bike (Honda VFR 800 Vtec), the inside of the exhaust has the same type of layout to direct the flow of the gases etc. What some have done, is remove the baffle plates, in this case, those two horizontal plates. That way, the gasses don't go round in circles and at the same time give a little more noise. But if you try this, don't blame me if it sounds shite. Just passing on some info

Depends what your after, this is a subtle upgrade with no drone (supposedly ), I had a spoon N1 droned like mad, went for the "quiet" Tenabe concept G droned , tried with and without decat made no difference, if this mod gives a little more noise without droning I think it would suit a lot of people
This mod could be just the ticket for some folk
My 5zigen singlpipe had a tiny bit of drone with NA barely noticeable

Hmm might try this at weekend, if it didn't work or sounds crap it is reversible, and at no cost it's got to be worth a try, just got to fit it in around a family get together, the stock exhaust is sooooo quiet it's embarrassing,,,,,, any ideas on the size of the link pipe,

Job done, freaking A used 22mm internal bore, and it's given it a deeper tone on par with what you expect it to sound from new, but not overly loud, maybe get away with 28mm,(i knew should have go bigger bore but oh no Ray insisted on the smaller bore ) which is what i might try in a few weeks, when i have tried it on longer runs, but at the moment absolutely no drone, and the best bit it cost nowt,
