Cumbria.
Booked it in with the paint and body clinic on the 3rd May.
They are going to paint the bumper whilst it's still on the car so there's no labour involved in removing it and fixing it back on.
That's why it's cheaper than the other quotes.
Am I within my rights to ask them to do an inspection of the car for damage before I hand it over? That way if it picks up a ding or someone manages to kerb a wheel, they're the ones that will need to fix it?
What is it called? A pre-inspection check?

Tbh, i don't like the sound of spraying on the car, the bumper sits very tightly to other panels so getting in the gaps will be difficult.
Also they say it will reduce labour, They've got to remove the headlight washers, remove the grill and mask up pretty much the whole car to avoid overspray.
In regards to an inspection if there a body clinic i cant see them having a problem with it. What i'd probably do is point out any existing marks you know of, and check hes happy with that. Get it in writing to as a verbal agreement will mean sweet F.A.

Can you legally drive without a front bumper on?
I'm wondering if I remove it then get them to spray it, would I still have use of the car?
