Don't know if the one on the net is any good. People here seem to say they do nothing but provide you with a place to put your hand when you are leaning over the engine bay.
I've a J's front & rear strut brace on mine and found that the car seemed a little bit smoother over poor roads.
People here also agree that a front & rear lower brace is a better buy.

Yeah a the lower braces seem to have a more noticeable improvement... personally I am bracing it to high heaven... so front upper and lower, also rear and chassis bracing etc. etc.

When i put my j's front upper brace on i think that i felt slight more reaction and preciseness to the steering but it might just have been a placebo affect...

If this is a front top strut brace I'd only invest if you were planning on replacing the OEM top rear brace as well. I found they worked nicely as a pair. The front on it's own created a bit more understeer but once the back went on this dialled it out again.

I think your money would be much better spent getting the pair of lower braces. The straight replacement rear one was a fantastic mod

There have been a few threads on this very topic, so it might be worth having a search to see what people think

as the car has a double wishbone (near enough) the top mount is realy only a support for the shocks so a brace will have much less impact than on a macphersons strut set up where the top mount is part of the geometry, go for a set of lower braces, they are more expensive but you will notice a difference
