New hub and bearing in place and the noise is now gone and car now drives fantastic! Decided in the end not to buy a press and took it to be pressed at a garage for £20.

All in costs were:

Genuine brand new hub £45
NTN Bearing from tegiwa £35
Cost to press £20

So total £100.
How did you get a new hub for £45? Was that from Honda?

I was very lucky, their was a main dealer on ebay selling it for £50 or best offer, i put a best offer of £45 and they accepted, i can only presume they ordered it for a job and didnt need it so sold it cheap to get rid, on the listing it said RRP £160+

And that included free next day delivery too lol

As it turned out my old hub was completely fine with no pits or damage to it, so i still have my old good hub in my cupboard if i ever need it for the opposite side of the car.

I've had the boot come out of its retaining grove before, can be a right PITA to get back in again. So as long as it's where it should be you'll be fine, otherwise it'll probably be an MOT fail next time around.
