I nearly posted about that last night but was really spooked just thinking about it (and I wasn't sure you'd want to be reminded).

Chris, I have no doubt that something existed in that room - when you were away at Uni I was terrified to just enter that area of the house, even during the day.

My wife spent a night in that room when we were first dating and was also convinced there was a spirit there (she's really tuned in to that type of thing).

I used to feel there was someone standing right behind me when I was in the room - very strange. Interestingly, this was a new room - nothing had existed there before (new extension) so I'm kind of puzzled what sort of supernatural force was at large!

To make matters worse, I've encountered a ghost in my present house which ties in with my wife's sighting. The house is built on the grounds of an old factory and is that of an old woman. Friendly and peaceful...so no worries....

 

One last thing about the old house, Chris. This really spooks me.

We lived there for 20 years and we know that the house was only a few years old with no "history" when we moved in (but the previous owners had a bad taste in paint colours).

The lady who moved in after us died there. Out of the blue. In the bedroom. Fact.

I'm spooked.
