Interesting points.

And no, it's a genuine MOT I'm after for SWMBO's Yaris actually, but I'm going to scope it out for my S too when that's needed next year.

I too believe the MOT quality varies from place to place, right down to greasy mitts on the paintwork and the use of interior seat covers etc.

So best recommendations are in Guildford itself so far?

I took my S2000 to Station View Garage in Dorking, good bunch of guys in there and they appreciate that you care about your car.

They've got a recessed lift and Hunter geometry machine. Have done the geo on the s2000 and on the M3 there.

After experiencing MOT only places in France I opt for council run mot stations now when possible, 9 pain free mot's since

Redhill Honda look after mine, never had any probs with MOT in spite of the headlamp washer fuse being removed - although I tell them to take it out again if they need to fit it to pass the test.
