Goodbye S2000
It's been quite a while since I posted on the site (work, teenage daughters... usual stuff), but as I say goodbye to the S tomorrow, it seems only proper to put a few words on here!
I've had the Indy Yellow Pearl S for two and half years and some 55,000 miles and aside from some pretty minor niggles, the S2000 has proved to be my favourite car to date. Quick enough for any sane person, reliable, incredibly economical given the performance and practical too.
And whatever anyone else says, the S can be driven in all weathers - I've driven on ice, in snow and I've always managed to get where I wanted to go in one piece. IMHO the car's handling characteristics are usually an excuse for a lack of common-sense and/or lack of driving ability...
The dealers aren't up to much (which ones are?), insurance at nearly
