Headlight washer removal
So i am just about to book my car into a body shop to get the headlight washers removed and smoothed over.
However, i have just spoken to the local Honda Garage in Salisbury who tell me that it will get an advosiry on its next MOT and in September 2012 onwards it will fail the MOT.
This is on the basis that it has HID headlights and any car designed from factory with washers should have them working....
Any thoughts on this?

Yep been covered quite a few times. Mine passed no probs in Jan of this year without them.
Do the earlier models have headlight washer buttons on the dash somewhere? The facelift don't so the tester would have to be super on the ball to know they should be there and have been removed. Also I dont think the jap imports have them? Only if fitted do they have to work I think the wording was. Worse case get a bumper from a scrappy for mot time.
