Default Headlights

So Ive got my MOT in a week or so and I noticed the other night my sidelight was broken on the nearside. So need to replace the bulb as this is an MOT failure.

Ive read a couple of threads that seem to suggest the inner plastic wheel arch liner needs to be removed to change the bulb. Is this correct or can the bulb be accessed from the inside of the wing with the bonnet up?

Yes unfortunately its a PITA and you do have to remove at least part of the plastic wheel arch liner. Your best bet is to put the steering wheel on full, opposite lock and remove as many of the arch liner clips you can see. You should then be able to squeeze your hand through the gap to reach the side light bulb and twist to remove it.

I find the easiest way is to jack up the car and remove the wheel. Much more space for my fat hands then

Thanks for this. Really helpful. Just a shame that the job sounds like a PITA. Cheers!
