Default Heater Problems?

We all know that the heater in the S is superb but mine seems to be acting up. Dirving home tonight, I was taking it really easy in the rain and the revs didn't go mush over 3k. I realised that I was getting virtuallly no heat into the car On a straight bit, I at bit and the heat came on.

Testing this, I found that dropping the revs below 2k resulted in coldish air being blown through. At 2.5k+, the heater was back to normal and I was roasting.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I set for another expensive trip to the menders?

I find that when I slow down the heater feels much hotter - to the point that it starts to burn my hands and I have to turn it right down.

Does this problem occur on all of the settings Chris?

I haven't had this problem with mine, although I did notice when stuck oh the M5 tonight, that my roof was letting water in.

Ali - I slow down and the heater blows colder air

Rich - I visited my parents tonight and when I left, gave a wave as I pulled away. A couple of pints rolled off the roof and in through the window Bet I had more water in the car than you.

GSi - I was testing
