Radweld rocks Well for now anyway.

If the level drops again, I'll take it in to be fixed properly. It's just that the dealer claimed a radiator leak and I couldn't find any trace of it so a

Be good to know if it holds out. If I ever get around to changing my S (one way or another in the next 6 months) then I'll be in for the long haul and would be interesting to see how long term ownership pans out

I've decided that I'm not leaking anywhere but just overheating and then losing fluid when the radiator cap blows as the coolant gets too hot from the overheating... going back to the dealer for the THIRD time!

Hope it's the cap that's faulty 9k. Otherwise it sounds like a major problem.
Did they do the pressure test?

My car wasn't exhibiting any heater problems (that I noticed) but I had had some sort of gasket breach (See my 'oil in my coolant' thread from a while back). The did pressure tests on and off over a period of a day, with some runs in between and they found no probs at all with the pressures. In the end- after a repeated experience of oil in my coolant, they sorted it all underwarranty - gasket. Didn't cost me a penny, just had to make do with an Accord Auto for 4 days
