Default how straight forward

im wanting to lower my car but is it as straight forward as just fitting coilovers or will i have to perchase other bits and bobs as well for the car to drive right?

Yes, it's as simple as that. If you want to lower more than 3cm or so, you will need other bits. Have a search for more info, There's tons out there.

You might want to purchase drive shaft spacers too.

You should check the adjustment/alignment bolts are free before even thinking about spending money on modifications. To not do so would be foolish, potentially dangerous and will cause tyre wear issues.

Once you gave ascertained the state of these bolts (front toe/camber/caster and rear toe/camber) fitting the mods and getting the geo sorted is simple.

Do a search

Seriously, the truth is out there Agent Mulder.

Do a search for the following:

Steering rack spacers
Driveshaft spacers
bump steer
rear toe arms

After you have done that, come back to the thread and tell us what you have learned.

My guess is that you'll be better equipped to do the task in hand and know what you want.
