Exactly.

I spent most of yesterday,(Sunny and windy) valeting the car thoroughly and it's looking pretty smokey! I've actually waxed the wheels to see if it makes cleaning them any easier and will post the result in due course.

I've been doing this for a while and with good results. When I suggested it in Wash & Wax though I got trounced - "the wheels get too hot and the wax will melt".... riiiight a common problem on the road in the UK in January

2)Bed in brakes over first 200 miles. (First mornings driving probably)

Hey Paul - noticed that you are from newcastle - thats where I am from - lived in S. Gosforth for 10 years after leaving my parents home in Kenton Bar - where you from then ?

Gods country, Killingworth, to anyone else!

A lots changed in 'Killy' since you lived in Kenton Bar (I'm actually at work nearby in Fawdon today typing this!).

Flats are knocked down, 3 bed detached houses are now double what they were three years ago, makes Darras Hall look cheap

I do this all the time also. I also wax the windshield.
