I had a ride in Dave's car a couple of weeks back. The intake is very loud in VTEC. It gives a nice BRRrrrrrr. It also make the trasnstition to VTEC very obvious. Very little noise before and lots after. This sort of emphasises the cars character for me.

I want one!

Err, the risk of stating the obvious, from 4IGS2000, Paul. He's one of the board sponsors (I think). Either look in the MarketPlace or PM him.

Mark....I clicked on his web-site but couldn't 'get anywhere'...I've emailed so will wait and see

I like the fact that the intake is on the offside so less chance of water ingress

I've decided with just the HKS it's too quiet...I want to scare people out of the way now

It took me about 2.5 hrs. The top end fitting is pretty straight forward. The car was then jacked up at the front and put on axle stands. It's a bit of an ass to get the trays off the underside of the car so that you can fit the filter. Then you need to weigh up where to cut the side of one of the trays to allow them to be re-fitted around the intake pipe after the filter (take the fron off-side wheel off for easy access). Then refit all the undertrays and enjoy the VTEC screeeeeam!!!

Oh, better put the wheel back on first eh
