Hi,

Welcome Big Al!

Congratulations on your purchase even if you got the slowest colour I guess it's too late to switch to MC Blue (the fastest)

As for things to look out for....

Run in:- I gave it 600 mile (ish) but I do know people that have vtec'ed from day one at the point they picked it up......although my view is to go with the book and wait....600 miles isn't that long...

Oil:- check your oil, a lot! the engines tend to use a fair bit at the start. Somthing to do with the block being slightly porous and actually absorbing some oil as it's fibre reinforced (I think, but dont quote me on that.)

Hardtop:- take it off! now! you have a convertible with a heater powered by the surface of the sun If it aint raining then the roof should be down....and if it is raining go fast so the water goes over the top!....although hail can be a problem as I found out on saturday with our poxy weather!

tyres:- halfords do a very cool digital pressure guage accurate to .5 psi or so for about 15 quid, check the pressures are as they should be (32 psi) just in case. Dont rely on forecourt gauges as their usually pants.

Apart from that enjoy!!!!!!
Oh, and as for mats 140 notes! I paid 35.99 for mine from honda although they are not that good to be honest, Muz mats look very good indeed, check out:-

Have fun!

I try, I try

Although people do tend to look at you as if your mad, when the rest of the car is covered in ice, or you driving at night with the roof down.

The hail was a real B!tch, walked in to the multistory in sun, got in the car, dropped the roof, drove out, straight in to BIG hail.....looked like a right prat

The number of times I have driven to work with the roof down (this is a 25 mile, 1 hour journey) and havent seen another car with its lid off - what is wrong with these people (MGF's and Mercs seem to be worst) - and why do they look at me as if there is something wrong with me - I mean - my hair has only frozen solid on 1 occasion so far

Driving in the dark with the top down is the absolute best - the darkness seems to make the car sound even better
