Believe it or not, I have the SAME NOISE AGAIN, and AA agreed and dropped off at Honda again last night.

New engine has done around 20k miles, and this problem sounds identical. Services at Honda, never uses oil, been fine......until now.

Last time they replaced the short engine. Could something else be causing the engine to fail??

Not definite its the same failure, but I'm not hopeful.

Was there any conclusion on the range of engine numbers affected??

I really don't need this hassle again.... :-(

Wow I didn't see it as a problem until I red this! Took my car in for it's first service and the guy said there's a noise in the again, something to do with the pistons, they will get back to me soon, damm need to get it sorted quick
