Same happened to me a couple of weeks ago, no tyre stocks locally. Pumped tyre weld in, not really believing in the products ability and was amazed. Fifteen minutes and straight back out again!!! New tyres fitted within the week from Event Mobile just in case.
My partner tells me that both she and her daughter have run tyres for over a year on the stuff without any problem.

Happened to me in my golf a couple of weeks back, luckily the local garage had just done a full service & repaired the tyre (as it was in the middle of the tread & the tyres are bog standard) for free instead of charging a tenner.
