Default key fob has died

Hello,

Having a bit of a nightmare, finished at work tonight, went to the car park and my key fob/immobiliser has died. The little red light comes on when I press the button but its very weak. Means I can't start the engine and the alarm keeps going off (brilliant).

Had to get a lift home, car is in Woking and I'm unsure how much a replacement fob will cost and best way to get one on the hurry up (assume stealership)

Any tips for getting the car started without the fob, I can get in with the key just can't start the bloody thing, are there anyways to bypass the immobiliser?

Nick

Just get a new battery, if you are unsure then pop into your local dealer, Halfords or any motor factor type place and they will be able to help out.

Place the transmitter against your forehead and press the button !

Your skelton will act as a booster for the signal !

Strange but true.
