Should be fine, you will need to drill a hole in it for the air temp sensor ( so you need a step drill bit or a screwdriver if you are a lout ) plenty of guidance about

Yeah it's 14 or 16 mm from memory (a long time ago !). Make sure you clean the inside of the intake tube thoroughly after drilling !!

A regular drill bit will cut the hole in the plastic inlet pipe. There's a grommet that seals the hole. Be sure to get all the chips out of there, then get them out again. Don't want then sucked into the engine.

I have an extensive range of drill bits and didn't have anything other than a spade bit or masonry bit big enough, which I didn't want to risk on something to do with my car ! Hence the advisory, if you want to do it with something else, feel free

Does the grommet you mentioned come with the KN FIPK kit?

The kit includes everything needed to include the grommet. The intake works for both engines and there are hoses, caps, and grommets to handle both types. There's a cap over one hose intake of my 2.2 (AP2) intake that's apparently used with the 2.0 (AP1) engine.

All parts and instructions. Takes an hour. Hardest part is mounting the airbox.
