Default K&N Panel filter

Is it worth getting. Prices on ebay seem to be the same as you would be at a dealer for the OEM version?

Consensus is that it isn't worth it (unless you go for the full intake kit)

Agreed, you'll not notice any power or aural benefits. Only buy it to save a bit of cash if your existing filter is hacky filthy as when it comes to servicing you don't need to replace it each time.

I put a K&N element in my stock air box, but while i was in there i took out the baffle plate and blanked the resonator chamber. seems like it's a tiny bit louder, but nothing really that noticeable.

Save you money up and get a K&N FIPK Gen II.
Do a search if you need more information.
