In the following link you can see the front and rear brake upgrade kit build specifically for me to fit the OEM 17" wheels by a forum member. I was so sure i will keep my OEM wheels until i fell in love with the new ones i have now. I know the topic is in Greek but if you need any help let me know.

I believe the stock brakes are enough if the car is stock so an upgrade is more for the look, otherwise bigger brakes and discs will make the car slower as it belongs to rotating mass which is more effective in performance than just the added weight

With 5mm spacers and H&R extended studs

Mmmm....spacers and extended studs are a no no from me but it's a personal choice. I also like a bit of space between the wheel and caliper (there should be at least 4mm for TUV).

Wilwoods are a good solution without costing the earth.

The 38 mm pistons match the OEM caliper bias ratios well so you don't end up losing braking performance like many big break kits

310mmx32 disks on alloy bells weigh about 4.5kg a side which is a lot lighter than stock. I made a kit on my old Rover turbo-never had any brake problems on the track. Best bit was the disks, only £45 each
