After nearly 3.5 years - I am on the hunt for another s2k - pretty much know them inside out, but I wanted to get an idea on what to look for with worn suspension bushes and shocks - are the bushes easily identifiable as screwed?

I guess tyre wear is a good indicator - although on my last the bushes were seized in exactly the same settings as factory!

Any other pointers welcome - I am off to refresh on the FAQ!

And best recommendations on where to get brake cylinder brace, and lower braces.

Only had mine 6 months and based on auto trader prices its gone up by £1k

 

With the bushes, best bet is to ask for proof of a recent geo - if it all comes back as adjusted to spec you should be good to go.

 

What are you after? If you buy mine it'll come with a brake cylinder brace and lower strut braces.

 

Not just traders asking for stupid money at the moment, seriously values are on the rise but some people are dreaming.

Am being cheap generally and looking for a standard car, my gut wants one sorted (like the one I sold) but the wallet says otherwise for now!

 

You know that you will end up doing the mods on it anyway in the end though...
