Jesus , Im gone for a few months and everybodys got lowering springs ?????
The truth is
Springs for looks
Coilovers for handling
and why anybody would polybush without fitting coilovers is beyond me :s
If you lower your car on springs without geo doing your car will handle worse than before, when you do get it done chances are your bushes will be seized so youll have to get polybushes, which will leave you wishing you had coilovers, its a vicious cycle.
My advice, do it proper in the 1st place.

To be honest I wouldn't recommend poly bushes on anything but a track car, too harsh on broken road surfaces.

GaryB - nowt like paying for 2 geo settings
si2k - i have polybushes, as long as I keep the damping on the coilovers on the softest setting it seems fine to me and the roads are bad round here too.

Would have made perfect sense to have coilovers fitted at the time of polybushing but time didn't work in my favour on this one unfortunately.
But yes, now I'll have to pay for coilover fitting and geo'ing again when they go on.
(Assuming I ever manage to decide on what to get).
In the mean time, the car feels great now with the polybush and Eibachs. Corners really flat and it's starting to feel like my old Elise.
Plus it's lost that 4x4 look that always annoyed me.
