Just wired up headlamps noticing that I don't appear to have front sidelight action, I.e one click on the stick. I do however get both lights at the rear. Another click forward on the stick lights up the Xenons. What I thought were dim side lights only activate when flashing. Is this normal or did I f@Ck the loom up. Also anybody ever taken note of which of the two fans kicks in when thermostat opens? Once cars hot passengers fan activates only. Does the fan opposite kick in when really hot,or again is it defective?

FWIW on mine:

1 click puts tiny sidelights on (i.e. bulbs beneath indicators) and the rears

H/L flash puts dipped and beam on (i.e. the 4 driving lights)

Dunno about the fan Q.
