Think I covered that on last years thread from memory? I remember someone asking. I don't think it's enough to notice unless you did back to back tests same day, and I didn't have time to do it.

Grass is always greener but I wouldn't ever start again on an S if I decided not to keep this one. Will see how the Caterhams go though.

It's a great shame that you're missing a season, but I do fully understand given the experience of racing that you shared - it's exceedingly expensive and actually surprisingly stressful.
I think for what it's worth, you should still rebuild the car with the sequential, that way, you'll finally get yourself in a position where you know how good it is with no holds barred.
Great thread though - always brilliant to read.

Hi Mark, sad to read the news but all things considered I think you are going the right direction. The simple enjoyment of racing will be much greater in the Caterham with team support.
Tough choice with what to do with the car. The pursuit of speed in a rather out of control race series will always end up with a lot of cost and stress. I would be rather tempted to go with Gad's suggestion and get rid of all S2000 associated stuff and concentrate on the Caterham. The alternative is put in on ice, explore other series, the car would probably be very successful in a more endurance biased series where the classes are classified on power to weight. Keep the box, go with a bit less power and engine stress and then enjoy the seat time - come race with me in Roadsports
Good luck with whatever direction this may take you.

Thank Ant, very much my thought process on options at the moment!
Will see how the first race goes, but the R300 is such fun to drive.
You doing roadsport?!
